The Accountant will perform the general accounting functions and assist the Controller in implementing and maintaining accurate records and thorough accounting controls in accordance with GAAP, preparing month-end financial statements, completing monthly reporting packages, actively seeking ways to reduce costs and increase profitability, preparing various reports to assist management with analysis of costs and potential savings and more!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Experience in coordinating and maintaining sound accounting practices and procedures
- Experience with spreadsheets; MS Office products a plus
- Experience with accounting control procedures
- Assists with the preparation and submission of governmental agency reports including taxes
- Performs monthly account reconciliations
Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
