Fives Group companies (www.fivesgroup.com), an international player in Process Engineering, Consultation and Process System Supply to the Steel Industry, has an immediate opening for a Financial Accountant at our offices in Wadsworth, Ohio.
The Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurately reporting of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports. Also must be able to communicate financial information to company leaders and audiences that do not have an extensive accounting background.
General Requirements:
Requires a motivated, decisive individual with the ability to work within the constraints of scope, time and cost with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate can work well in a project team and can communicate technically with other team members. In addition, the following abilities are desired:

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive schedules and deadlines.
- Able to work collaboratively with employees of all levels within the organization.
- Capable of planning and managing numerous channels of communication.
- Professional attitude with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in SAP / ERP systems
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Create and enter Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoices
- Enter Monthly/Quarterly Journal Entries (Percent of Completion, accruals, prepaids, etc.)
- Post Banking Information
- Prepare Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management and project team(s)
- Attend Monthly Project Review meetings
- Work closely with Project Managers to assure they understand how actual costs on projects are tracking to the initial budget
- Create and maintain reporting and tracking processes to ensure leadership has accurate and useful information by leverage SAP / ERP system
- Involved in annual external audit and assist in preparing audited financial statements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting and/or finance
- Five or more years of related experience
- Efficient with MS Excel
- Experience in SAP / ERP systems

<10% Travel required typically to other Fives locations.
