Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

Mandai Wildlife Group is seeking an experienced ERP Finance expert to join our dynamic ERP Transformation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall operation, transformation and continuous improvement of the Finance Applications for the group and play a critical role in the group’s ERP Transformation Program driving ERP transformation across the key lines of business relating to finance business processes : FICO, AP, AR, PS, FA, Cash Mgt, Grant Mgt, Tax, Inventory Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Consolidation and Financial Reporting, while ensuring seamless ERP integration across systems and functions.

The ideal candidate shall have a proven track record in project management and vendor management, with a strong background in ERP finance business processes, solutions, and architectural design.

Finance Application and ERP Transformation

Oversee the overall operation and continuous improvement of the Finance Applications of the group, supporting immediate-term organization objectives.

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ERP Finance solutions, acting as the go-to person for business users for all ERP finance-related inquiries.

Lead the transformation of Finance processes through the implementation, configuration, and support of Next Gen ERP Finance modules / applications across various domains such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Budgeting and Forecasting.

Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement and transformation in the area of ERP Finance functions.

Ensure ERP Finance systems are optimized to meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency.

Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in Finance Applications to support ongoing transformation efforts.

ERP Architecture and Integration

Own and manage the overall ERP architecture for the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical standards, and industry best practices.

Collaborate within the IT team and with business teams to integrate ERP systems with other financial and non-financial applications, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency.

Ensure architectural coherence and consistency across ERP Finance, Logistics, and other integrated modules.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Conduct regular reviews and updates to the ERP architecture to adapt to organizational growth, new business requirements, and emerging technologies.

Provide technical and functional expertise to ensure successful integration during system upgrades, migrations, or new implementations.

Maintain an understanding of the organization's ERP system landscape, ensuring integrations align with business and compliance requirements.

Project Management

Manage Finance Application projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and allocate resources effectively.

Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders.

Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Vendor Management

Establish and maintain strong relationships with ERP Finance solution vendors and service providers.

Coordinate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of services and products.

Negotiate contracts and service agreements to secure the best value for the company.

Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.

Job Requirements :

Graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Finance consulting or related roles, with in-depth understanding and hands-on experience in modules such as FICO, PS, FA, AP, AR, TAX, Cash Mgt as well as their integration with Logistic modules such as SD and MM as well as other external systems.

Hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Next Gen ERP Finance solutions, familiar with the latest ERP Finance technology capabilities and best practices, in the areas of FICO, AP, AR, PS, FA, Cash Mgt, Grant Mgt, Tax, Inventory Accounting, Budgeting & Forecasting, Consolidation and Financial Reporting.

Solid understanding of integration principles and practices, with experience in managing seamless data flows between ERP systems and external applications.

Proven track record in project management, with experience leading ERP Finance transformation projects. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.

Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of effectively communicating and collaborating with people at various organizational levels.

Candidates must demonstrate proactive engagement with business units and have a solid track record of fostering collaborative relationships with business teams.

Strong vendor management skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage contracts effectively.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
