What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permit Expeditor position at Corporate Property Services, Inc.?
We are a commercial land development consultant offering multi-property portfolio clients with specialized services that encompass project management, zoning feasibility studies, due diligence reports, coordination with design professionals, governmental permitting, and administration during construction. We have an immediate need for an energetic permit expeditor. The position has inherent growth potential. The applicant should have at least 3 years permit expediting experience in the South Florida market. The candidate must have proficient writing skills, be able to prepare comprehensive Excel spreadsheets, as well as be extremely organized.
Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare permit construction documents
- Submit permit packages in the tri-county area
- Online permit processing and tracking
- Permit comment coordination with project managers, clients, designers
- Assist project managers
- Prepare project tracking spreadsheets.
The candidate will be required to have a clean driving record, reliable transportation and documentation of business usage auto insurance coverage. The position will require use of a personal vehicle for business purposes. Fuel allowance, health insurance reimbursement and a 401k plan are offered. Salary will be commensurable with previous experience.
