Position Overview
The Logistics Account Manager will be the key point of contact for both internal teams and customers. You will work closely with departments like Billing, Commercial, Support, Operations, and others to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded. This is a highly collaborative role with a focus on clear and timely communication, both internally and externally, to ensure smooth, effective service delivery. This position is based in Roselle, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing timely updates on shipments and services.
- Oversee the coordination and tracking of goods, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to customer requirements.
- Partner with internal teams (sales, operations, dispatch, etc.) to resolve issues and ensure the seamless execution of services.
- Manage escalated customer issues, delivering effective solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Process orders, update shipment statuses, and ensure accurate documentation for all logistics activities.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and implement alternative solutions in the event that customer expectations may be at risk.
- Participate in ongoing training and job shadowing to stay informed on best practices and enhance professional development.
