Job Description - Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative research skills and a solid understanding of financial concepts. This role involves conducting thorough financial analysis, preparing reports, and utilizing various financial software to support decision-making processes within the organization. The Analyst will play a crucial role in data collection and financial modeling to ensure accurate assessments of our financial standing.
Primary Responsibilities for the Valuation Analyst role include :
- Conduct quantitative research to analyze financial data and trends.
- Review, organize, and analyze documents received for an engagement
- Participate in management interviews and site visits with the management team and performing due diligence
- Conducting company, industry, and economic research
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- Perform valuations of privately held operating and holding companies. Responsible for the development and utilization of various financial models and analytical support, financial opinions, and other valuation engagements.
- Prepare client deliverables, including but not limited to Valuation Reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and provide analytical support.
- Manage multiple ongoing projects. Communicate status and timelines with team members.
- Reviewing and editing written reports for team members
Qualifications
Skills :
Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with a team.
Intermediate skills in Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat are a plus.
