The CI/HUMINT CHARC assists the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the intelligence directorate task area. The position’s primary mission involves providing timely, accurate, and relevant multi-discipline, multi-function intelligence support tailored to the USCENTCOM AOR for the COMUSMARCENT staff and subordinate units to assist in the Command’s decision making and staff actions for MARCENT’s component responsibilities and Title 10 service obligations. The CI/HUMINT CHARC directly supports services for the MARCENT G-2, including analysis and collections management support to ensure the efficient execution of MARCENT OAMS tasks both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The CI/HUMINT CHARC will perform the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide CI/HUMINT collection, analysis, and requirements (CHARC) management services.
- Deliver CI/HUMINT analysis and collections management services at the expert proficiency level.
- Execute collection management requirements at the MEF, MARFOR and joint levels.
- Provide CI/HUMINT analysis, CI/HUMINT targeting, collection management, utilization of CI/HUMINT databases, and utilization of CI/HUMINT systems in support of MARCENT forces.
- Develop and review MARCENT CI/HUMINT requirements, targeting support, and analytical products in order to draft recommendations for submission to higher, adjacent, and supporting units. Unclassified and classified reports and briefs must be prepared and submitted as appropriate.
EDUCATION
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum ten years of military experience.
- Experience in Counterintelligence (CI) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) collection, analysis, and management.
- Experience in managing and executing collection requirements at major operational levels such as Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), Marine Forces (MARFOR), and joint task forces.
- Experience supporting military operations through expert CI/HUMINT analysis, targeting, and management.
- Experience preparing and submitting both unclassified and classified reports and briefs, with a focus on drafting recommendations for high-level commands.

- Ability to prepare and submit high-quality unclassified and classified reports and briefs, ensuring accuracy and relevance of the information provided.
- Strong capability to develop and review CI/HUMINT requirements and provide targeted support to MARCENT forces and related units.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols for handling classified information and compliance with relevant intelligence regulations and policies.
- Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint, MS Teams) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.) desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS
- Travel is required.
