Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The Global Force Manpower Support assists the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands by serving within the manpower directorate task area. The position’s primary mission involves assisting in the analysis of manpower requirements to support operations. Additionally, the manpower directorate helps to advise and assist the Commander in matters relating to personnel operations, management, policy, administration, awards, correspondence, travel management, the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program, and administrative support to all Marines stationed at MacDill AFB as well as individual augments in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). The Global Force Manpower Support directly supports services for MARCENT’s G-1 section, including operational manpower methodologies and employment concepts to ensure the efficient execution of MARCENT OAMS tasks both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). Additionally, the manpower directorate helps to advise and assist the Commander in matters relating to personnel operations, management, policy, administration, awards, correspondence, travel management, the Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) Program, and administrative support to all Marines stationed at MacDill AFB as well as individual augments in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). The Global Force Manpower Support will perform the following duties:
- Provide support with operational manpower methodologies and in Global Force Management processes.
- Conduct reviews of force manning documents, assist in conducting troop to task analysis, and assist in coordinating manning changes.
- Coordinate with forward deployed Marine Commanders, the Force Providers, and the Service Headquarters to enable deployment of appropriately organized, trained, and equipped combat and support formations.
- HS diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum ten years of military experience.
- Experience in supporting operational manpower methodologies and Global Force Management processes.
- Experience reviewing force manning documents, conducting troop-to-task analysis, and coordinating manning changes.
- Experience coordinating with deployed Marine Commanders, Force Providers, and Service Headquarters to support deployment and readiness of combat and support formations.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possess extensive knowledge and full understanding and experience in Marine Force employment concepts, Marine Air Ground Tasks Force employment concepts, the Marine Corps Force Generation Process, and the Marine Corps Force Prioritization Process and prevailing operating conditions within the CENTCOM AOR.
- Expertise in operational manpower methodologies and Global Force Management processes, with the ability to apply these principles to support MARCENT’s G-1 section.
- Strong skills in reviewing force manning documents and conducting troop-to-task analyses to ensure appropriate manning and support.
- Proficiency in coordinating with Marine Commanders, Force Providers, and Service Headquarters to facilitate the deployment of well-organized and equipped formations.
- Advanced proficiency with groupware applications (SharePoint, MS Teams), Microsoft Office suite (Word, Power Point, Excel, etc.), and C2IE desired.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills desired.
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
- Travel is required.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company’s auto insurance provider.
- A TS / SCI clearance is required for this position.
