THIS IS A Part-time WORK FROM HOME ROLE: Will be required to work 2 consecutive full 40hr weeks for training. After training position will be 20hr week, with a full 8hrs on every Monday. Schedule between 8a-6p CST.

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Physician Services Scheduler is responsible for answering incoming phone calls, scheduling patient appointments in the registration system, insurance verification, routing calls and communicating to the appropriate department or physician offices.
In this role you will:
- Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
- Schedules all patient appointments for physician practices including cancellations and changes
- Insurance verification and verification of patient demographics
- Select accurate insurance carrier plans and informs the patient of any carrier that is out of network
- Provides Good Faith Estimates (GFE) upon patient request
- Informthephysicianofficestafforpatientofanytestingrequirementsaccordingtotheinstructionsandqueries in the scheduling module
- Ensure that any edits are performed in the scheduling module
- Ensure all required information is accurate and complete in the scheduling module
- Work closely with the physician office staff to ensure that pre-cert/authorization numbers are entered in the scheduling or registration system as needed
- Select the correct patient medical record number consistently
- Utilize appropriate method/tool to communicate with Physician offices as necessary
Qualifications that you will need:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of related experience preferred.
- Experience using EClinical Works preferred. Meditech or Cerner is a plus
- Experience in scheduling for physicians offices preferred
