Corrida of Half Eaten Cookie Hospitality is looking for a qualified Bar Lead who is excited about current food and beverage trends to join our team. At least 2-years cocktail bartending experience is preferred for this position. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic and organizational skills, warm hospitable demeanor and present themselves well. We are looking for motivated individuals who will thrive in a fast- paced knowledge-based environment with high attention to detail.
About Corrida’s Bar Program:
o High focus on Spanish products and preparations
o Gin & Tonic Program
o Seasonal ingredients and collaboration with the kitchen program

Bar staff is responsible for, but not limited to:
o Handling money
o Following existing opening, closing, and cleaning SOPs
o Extensive knowledge of all food and beverage menus
o Ensuring bar cleanliness
o Contributing creative ideas to the team
o Warm and engaging guest interaction and service
The ideal candidates fit the following criteria:
o Able to work well as part of a team
o Able to stand and work on their feet for periods up to 8 hours
o Classic cocktail knowledge
o Advanced knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
o Strong desire to learn and grown within the industry
o Honesty and reliability
o Ability to understand, execute & coach excellent steps of service
o Good time management, organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
o High attention to detail
o Strong communication skills
o Night and weekend availability
o Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
The purpose of the Bar Lead is to assist with bar program execution under supervision of the General Manager. Below is a description of duties for the Corrida bar lead as well as benefits to reward the position:
Duties:
- Service Standards:
- Maintain service standards as they are outlined by management
- Hold fellow bar staff accountable to these service standards, coach and correct bar staff to ensure proper execution.
- Assure that weekly cleaning tasks and side work are being done regularly
- Program execution:
- Be the extra set of eyes to ensure production recipes are executed properly
- Cocktails are being prepared to the standard with proper technique
- Service steps are tight and to the Corrida standard
- Ordering Duties:
- Along with support from the team getting produce and dry goods orders to chef on a regular basis to ensure pars are maintained.
- Compile a weekly list of bar needs (beer, liquor, NA, bitters) to be checked by General Manger to review and order
- Inventory:
- Once per period the bar lead will be required to count bar inventory & enter counts to spreadsheet
Compensation:
- Bar lead will receive an additional $2.00/hr as a tipped employee.
- Preferential scheduling to ensure hours approaching 40hr/week
- Occasional manager approved overtime
- Order shift meal off menu on admin days (i.e. Inventory)
