The Primary Objective of the Machinist role is to read and interpret technical data, including sketches, prints, and other related documents, to produce high-quality parts. The Machinist is responsible for producing quality machined parts via the use of various machining methods and equipment. As a key member of the machine shop team, the Machinist must be able to perform dimensional inspection of all machined parts using basic measuring instruments and maintain a library of proven programs for future use.
