Corrpro Companies is looking for a Vice President, Sales with our Energy Clients. This is a remote position but must be located near a larger airport.

Corrpro is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Corrpro Companies is a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company.

  • Responsible for all Corrpro sales activities in our Energy Sector
  • Meet / exceed Energy sales / order targets with particular attention paid to GM %
  • Hire, train and manage sales staff in the Energy sector
  • Lead sales team cultural change
  • Drive business growth with particular emphasis on account growth and market penetration
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership, develop strategies to increase sales revenue and GM %
  • Ensure sales staff actively use CRM (Salesforce) for tracking activities, opportunities and market data
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance metrics for review with Corrpro and Azuria management
  • Drive solution-selling coordination within Azuria with a focus on increasing customer wallet share
  • Assist sales staff with complex negotiations during all phases of an opportunity
  • Coordinate with Operations and Finance to ensure the sales team are setting up projects for success. Ensure attention on T&Cs and company cash flow
  • Develop relationships within the industry through participation at regional and national industry events and organizations
  • Review and approve project specific pricing
  • Travel with sales staff to provide general sales / technical training and specific support during critical meetings

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Engineering
  • 15 years of technical and / or sales work experience in the Energy industry preferred
  • 8 years managing multi-state staff and comfortable making people management decisions
  • Make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to senior management, customers, and public groups
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Extensive software experience including Salesforce and MS Office
  • Must be able to travel by automobile and airplane about 50% of the time
