At Drop (drop.com), we’re a passionate team of enthusiasts creating products that fuel the hobbies and interests of millions. From custom mechanical keyboards to audiophile gear and Battlestation essentials, Drop is where enthusiasts go to find products they love.
As Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing Drop’s social media strategy across key platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and creative teams to ensure our content speaks to our enthusiast audience in an authentic and engaging way.
Here is what you will do as part of the team:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that grows and nurtures Drop’s online presence, aligned with business goals and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and execute initiatives including contests, content partnerships, promotions, announcements, and more
- Manage, create, and curate daily content (including posts, stories, and videos) across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Threads and Facebook
- Collaborate with our Community Manager on Discord, Reddit and drop.com content
- Engage directly with Drop’s community: respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster relationships and deepen brand loyalty
- Stay on top of social trends, memes, and community conversations, and bring creative ideas to keep Drop relevant and exciting
- Analyze performance metrics (engagement, growth, conversions), generate reports, and optimize strategy based on insights
- Work cross-functionally with product, eCommerce, and creative teams to coordinate launches, promotions, and announcements
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in Social Media Management
- Have a deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube).
- Highly organized, self-starter with the ability to plan and self-manage several tasks and projects
- Are skilled in basic design tools to create engaging visual content (bonus if you’re comfortable with short-form video content).
- Excellent written communication and a proven track record of successfully inform and influence others
- Can balance creativity and strategy, bringing innovative content ideas backed by data-driven thinking.
- Are organized, proactive, and self-directed, able to juggle multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for Mechanical Keyboards and gaming is a plus
For roles that are based at our headquarters in Milpitas, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Annual Salary Range $80,000—$100,000 USD
