Prestonwood Country, a premiere golf club in Cary, NC, has several positions open for Pool Attendant. The Pool Desk Attendant is responsible for facility operations under the guidance of the Director of Fitness & Aquatics. This person will supervise pool desk services maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere for members and guests.
This is a seasonal position from Mid-May – Sept 7, 2025.
Shifts: 9:30am-3:00pm or 2:45pm-8:00pm (20-30 hours a week)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be at least 16 years old
CPR/AED Certification preferred
Display excellent interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate an ability to provide excellent service to members and guests.
Show Excellent Oral And Written Communication Skills.
Illustrate and promote attention to detail.

- Responsible for setting up and breaking down pool desk check-in system
- Screens all entering pool facility verifying member/guest status
- Distributes towels / keeps towels stocked at pool desk
- Answers telephone and takes messages
- Answers questions about hours of operation, guest fees, and aqua-cise
- Directs members to appropriate staff
- Promotes swim lessons, swim and dive teams
- Rings up guest fees
- Keeps pool desk area neat and clean
