Shift Details
1st / Day
Shift schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm. Some OT required. Only during work week, not on weekends.
Must Have: 6 months warehouse and/ or packaging experience
Cold environment, 34-40 degrees. Will be packaging product, will not have direct food contact.
PPE requirements: Steel toed boots and warm clothes for the cold environment. Site provides cloth gloves, smock, hair nets (if needed), etc.
Additional Notes: Repetitive work/ tasks. Packaging various types products, utilizing the same process. Minor computer work, using RF Scanner to input into system. Looking for someone who is self-motivated and will work hard to meet daily packaging goals. Bilingual candidates a plus, but not required. Open to only Spanish speaking candidates as well.0-3 Years of Experience, Responsible for packing / repacking products. Measures, weighs, and counts products and material; assembles, lines, and pads cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools; cleans containers, materials, supplies, or work area using cleaning solutions and hand tools; examines and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met; loads products into package processing equipment, marks and labels containers, container tags, or products using marking tools; obtains, moves, and sorts products, materials, containers, and orders using hand tools; places and/or pours products or materials into containers using hand tools and equipment; records product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records; removes completed or defective products or materials; seals containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools. Requires the ability to read, write, and understand English, basic arithmetic skills, good physical stamina and conditioning, and the ability to learn to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. Reports to Operations Manager.
