The Finance Manager - Marketing Programs position supervises the Marketing Program Accrual Analysts and indirectly manages the Marketing Programs Administration team. The Finance Manager ensures rebate payments are met with high quality service, accuracy, timeliness, in a customer-oriented way and performs quality controls necessary in the area. The Marketing Program Accrual Team collaborates with the Commercial Finance and Marketing teams to ensure accurate Crop Protection forecasted accruals. The team of Program Administrators are responsible for interpreting, calculating, and paying marketing programs per documented program guidelines.
Primary Responsibilities- How will you help us Grow! :
- Supervise and oversee the Marketing Programs Administration team
- Work cross-functional as the Controllership leader for North America Marketing Rebate Programs.
- Routinely review North America Crop Protection rebate accruals and provide timely updates to Senior Leadership
- Act as the Controllership liaison for all on-going Marketing Program projects
- Oversee the Marketing Program Payment bi-weekly processes
- Ensure high quality service to Corteva internal and external customers
- Monitors the adherence to timelines and drives continuous process improvement
- Solves problems escalated by the team and our internal work partners
- Ensures SOX compliance of the processes, including supporting audits from both internal and external auditors
- Implements and enforces internal controls
- Ensures adherence to GAAP
- Periodic travel is required
