This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.
What You’ll Do
- Utilize systems such as SAP/R3 as a fundamental basis of performing the job.
- Provide coordination of expedites with customer service, inter-company schedulers, and vendors using internal system.
- Proactively plan/enable orders and services to be delivered on time while managing conflicting priorities.
- Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods and packaging.
- Supply information to customer service and inter-company schedulers regarding status of all order fulfillment activities.
- Work closely with production, field, maintenance, quality, and inter-company schedulers to schedule and establish priorities of production process orders (PPOs).
- Gather data and assist with other activities for continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinate and work with various departments to ensure appropriate scheduling and prioritization of production while demonstrating a professional manner.
- Forecast, develop, and maintain scheduling/planning metrics and utilize problem solving tools to determine root cause of inefficiencies caused by scheduling.
- Various other duties as assigned.
- You have your High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- You are willing and able to work in a variety of areas (plant, warehouse).
- You are willing and able to stand and sit for extended periods.
- You have good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- You have good teamwork skills.
- You have experience and proven proficiency in computer systems and programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and tend to pick up quickly on new software.
- You are willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting.
- You are willing and able to work overtime hours including weekends as required to support business goals.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or other relevant business degree.
- Previous manufacturing/agriculture/customer service/shipping/logistics experience.
- SAP experience.
