What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Engineer position at Cortina Solutions?
Cortina Solutions is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Duties:
- Perform planning and design work for new construction, renovations and improvement projects for existing and future real property facilities
- Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans and designs for projects
- Inspects construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
- Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders throughout design phases
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with DoD
- Experience with the physical requirements associated with Secure Compartmented Information (SCI) facilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active Top Secret Security clearance
