What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Management and Budget Specialist position at Cortina Solutions?
Cortina Solutions is seeking a Financial Management & Budget Specialist to support a government customer in Albuquerque, NM.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Duties:
- Assist in managing the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process
- Provide staff support and perform analysis of program funding for all PPBE phases and other budget exercises
- Research and analyze program funding and execution trends data from sources such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Identify issues, recommend solutions, and provide assistance and advice associated with acquisition management of the SAP portfolio
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in DoD cost estimating and accounting
- Experience with classified accounting systems and processes
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Momentum applications is highly desired
- Active Top Secret Security clearance
