We are actively seeking a Patient Advocate to join our dynamic team. Support our mission of delivering excellent dental care in the community and assist us in creating more smiles and memorable experiences. Become part of a team that values teamwork and is truly invested in patient care.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and parents during check-in and check-out, ensuring a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.
  • Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient.
  • Greet parents and patients warmly upon arrival and departure.
  • Keep parents informed about the progress of their child’s appointment while they wait.
  • Maintain a tidy waiting area and front desk space.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointments and ensure all information is accurate in the patient's Boomerang file.
  • Communicate service limits to the clinical team before treating patients.
  • Prepare patient files in advance (pull file, update records, verify insurance and service limits) to streamline the appointment process.
  • Coordinate with the Clinical Team Leader and Doctors to provide opportunities for same-day care to patients.
  • Assist in meeting financial targets by filling hygiene and operative schedules.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and six-month recalls for patients.
  • Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately, taking messages when necessary.
  • Ensure patients receive necessary dental care through outbound calls to confirm, reschedule appointments, and follow up on any outstanding treatments.
  • Re-file all patient records at the end of the day for organizational efficiency.
  • Adhere to high standards of integrity by complying with all regulations and company policies.
  • Verify and collect any out-of-pocket balances from patients prior to treatment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications : Requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a dental or medical office is preferred.
  • Experience in children’s dentistry is a plus.
