Lead-Logistics

Corvac Composites, LLC is seeking to fill the position of Lead-Logistics/Shipping at one of their facilities in Morgantown, KY. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership and oversight of all shipping functions at the facility. This includes but is not limited to prepping containers for shipping, quality checks, sorting and counting, facilitating effective communication with all shipping vendors, and loading and unloading of shipments. This position would primarily work 1st shift hours Monday-Friday but does require OT/Saturday work/Flexibility to work off shift hours as needed. This is a first line/hourly lead position.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Check all incoming EDI, process if need.
• Supervise Shipping & Pick-n-Pack Team
• Spreadsheet for Daily shipping numbers.
• Review Toyota web site paperwork
• Check all Shipping Schedules
• Generate paperwork for production shipments.
• Do Daily Checks on Shipments
• Create shipping paperwork for all product
• Maintain organized file system
• Enter Set ups in CMS. Location, new part, Ext:
• Communication with customer contacts about shipment information
• Enter Receiving into CMS.
• Call-in and schedule all trucks.
• Protect Company Assets
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
  
  

Qualifications Necessary For The Job

• Knowledge of how to use CMS / AS400
• How to FIFO product
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills
• Good computer skills
• Basic Logistics Knowledge
• Forklift experience/license
• Experience with CMS preferred
• MS Office knowledge preferred
