Summary: The physical therapy assistant works under the direct supervision of the licensed physical therapist, under the general direction of the administrator, the referring physician, and the policies of the agency. They physical therapy assistant is responsible for implementing the treatment program designed by the licensed physical therapist to recover functioning, or to develop compensatory skill in a patient who has a physical limitation due to a disability. Position is located in a skilled nursing facility.
