Job Description : The occupational therapist works under the general direction of the Agency policies and procedures, the Agency administrator, and the referring physician. This therapist operates under the direct supervision of the assistant administrator and / or coordinator / clinical director. The occupational therapist plans and conducts medically prescribed rehabilitation and training of physically limited and disabled patients to facilitate maximum independent functioning. The occupational therapist supervises the activities of the certified occupational therapist assistants and rehab techs, as appropriate.
Requirements
Education :
- Must possess an Associate degree from an accredited program conferring the title of Occupational Therapist Assistant.
