Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Corporate Facilities Manager to join our Operations & Planning Team. This role is crucial in managing our office facilities, ensuring that our workspaces are functional, showcase our culture and conducive to productivity. The Corporate Facilities Manager will manage the planning and execution of office renovations, relocations, and the opening of new office locations across all company sites. You will ensure these projects are completed on time, within budget and align with Cosm’s organizational objectives. This role requires excellent project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Manage office renovation, relocation, and new office builds, from concept to completion in collaboration with key internal stakeholders (HR, IT, Leadership, Risk).
Develop project timelines, set milestones, and establish goals for each office renovation or relocation; coordinate with external vendors, contractors, architects, and designers to ensure timely execution of project milestones.
Travel to other Cosm office locations to support any renovations, builds, space planning and design, working with local team to optimize office layout and functionality, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee needs.
Develop and manage project budgets & expenses, strategically negotiate with vendors ensuring efficient use of resources and cost control across all initiatives.
Oversee the transition to new or renovated office spaces, ensuring that all necessary systems, equipment, and furniture are properly installed and functioning.
Conduct post-project evaluations and suggest strategies for improving workspace efficiency, sustainability, and employee satisfaction.
Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries, including but not limited to managing day-to-day facility request and coordination with building management at our Los Angeles HQ.
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience leading facilities management with a focus on office renovations, relocations, and facility openings.
Strong knowledge of building systems, construction processes, space planning, and interior design.
Experience with managing large-scale projects, including budgets and vendor negotiations.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage complex logistics and competing priorities.
Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and other related tools.
