Essential Function
Process payrolls accurately and timely while following internal control processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and all federal, state and local statutory requirements and maintain payroll records. Handle employee inquiries with excellent customer service.

Essential Function
Process payrolls accurately and timely while following internal control processes in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and all federal, state and local statutory requirements and maintain payroll records. Handle employee inquiries with excellent customer service.
Primary Duties
- 35% Compiles employee time, production, and payroll data from time keeping systems and other records. Computes wages and deductions, enters data as appropriate. Completes all job requirements while always maintaining company SOX standards along with all Federal, State and Local government statutory requirements.
- 25% Reviews and audits time load into the payroll system, work charts, wage computation, and other information in order to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
- 20% Verifies and processes forms and other documentation for administration of promotions, transfers, resignations, etc. in order to maintain and update payroll records.
- 15% Verifies attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and posts information onto designated records. Audits payrolls regularly. Conveys any issues to Payroll Supervisor.
- 5% Prepares information for various compliance audits.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification, some college preferred.
- CPP Certification a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing administration.
- Knowledge of payroll administrative procedures, systems, and applicable regulations.
- Strong math / accounting skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong personal computer skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across various levels of employees and management.
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers.
- Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle difficult, sensitive, confidential issues and know when to seek assistance of supervisor.
