Sally Beauty Holdings is looking for an intern to join our Treasury and Investor Relations team. The intern will assist with various projects within our Treasury and Investor Relations functions, including but not limited to financial analysis, foreign exchange hedging, updates to investor relations website, investor targeting analysis, and bank fee analysis.
Candidates should have solid financial acumen, ability to work independently, good communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing of tall ladders; lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, crouching or crawling or strenuous physical exertion.

Duties
Primary Duties
- Perform a review of bank fees and identify opportunities for savings from outlier banks
- Review SBH shareholder base and compare to peers to identify additional investor targets
- Update the investor relations website as needed
- Analyze hedging program and FX risk within the business to identify enhancements to reduce exposure
- Other financial analysis as needed
- Majoring in business, preference in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Proficient in excel, powerpoint
- Independent worker and eager to learn new things
- Detailed oriented
- Good organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Good financial acumen
- Positive attitude
