East Dallas Diesel is seeking a no-nonsense, organized, and experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth running of the office. Job Description:
As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the office operates smoothly and efficiently. This role requires an individual who can handle multiple responsibilities with precision and is capable of managing the company’s day-to-day office functions. You will manage vendor relationships, accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and overall office operations. This is a full-time, permanent position with a 40-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office operations and ensure a productive and efficient office environment.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and handle procurement needs.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Process payroll and manage related documentation.
  • Ensure the office is compliant with company policies and procedures.
  • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite for accounting, invoicing, and administrative tasks.
  • Organize and maintain office files, records, and databases.
  • Coordinate office schedules, meetings, and events as needed.
  • Handle general office management tasks, including supplies and facilities maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as an Office Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus (but not required).
  • No-nonsense, professional attitude with a focus on results and efficiency.

  • Full-time, 40-hour workweek.
  • Two weeks paid vacation.
  • Most holidays off.
  • Permanent contract position.
