Description
As the Order Fulfillment Manager, you will lead and optimize the company’s order fulfillment process, serving as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams. This role combines customer-facing responsibilities with strategic data analysis to ensure demand control, inventory integrity, and profitability. You will also develop and deliver dynamic reports that support decision-making across all organizational levels while fostering collaboration across functional teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze order and inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and optimize fulfillment. Generate reports to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Create detailed, actionable reports to monitor demand forecasts, supply trends, and sales performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management, customers, and cross-functional teams in a clear and impactful manner.
- Develop dashboards and data visualizations to streamline decision-making processes.
- Oversee the demand control process to ensure customers adhere to agreed-upon plans and prevent under- or over-consumption of live goods.
- Review supply and demand forecasts, analyze variances, and communicate risks or opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations teams to track product readiness and address inventory at risk.
- Conduct weekly calls with sales, operations, horticulture, and other teams, sharing standardized updates on forecasts, inventory status, and key metrics.
- Partner with Sales SVP and directors to ensure the execution of strategic account initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional efforts to analyze and resolve supply-demand imbalances and optimize the customer experience.
- Produce monthly and yearly projections for hard goods (e.g., racks and shipping materials) to ensure operational continuity.
- Evaluate and oversee live goods sourcing deals, ensuring they contribute positively to the bottom line.
- Support sales initiatives to drive top-line revenue growth by addressing fulfillment needs and opportunities.
- Address and resolve order issues while accommodating unique customer requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues related to order fulfillment, such as order discrepancies, delays, or customer complaints. Work to find effective solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
- Participate in regular meetings with sales teams, management, and other stakeholders. Provide updates on order fulfillment status, inventory levels, and any issues affecting order processing.
- Oversee the processing of orders from receipt through delivery. Ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, addressing any discrepancies or delays promptly.

- Hybrid: While primarily office-based, the role may offer options for hybrid schedules, depending on the role requirements, hybrid employees are expected to have a dedicated and quiet workspace in their home, equipped with reliable high-speed internet, a suitable computer, and any necessary office supplies and must.
- Occasional travel to customer sites, warehouses, or production facilities as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in order fulfillment, supply chain, or customer-facing roles; managerial experience Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in building and presenting reports using tools like Excel, Power BI, or other relevant software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with both internal teams and external customers.
- Experience with demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management tools.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Occasional travel to customer sites, warehouses, or production facilities as needed.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
