International Financial Reporting Accountant 2/16/25 (Issaquah, WA)

The International Financial Reporting Accountant plays a key role in the preparation and review of the financial results of international subsidiaries that are consolidated within the Company's internal and external financial statements. This accountant will coordinate with international accounting teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting, ensuring compliance with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The accountant provides support to international accounting teams, assisting them with accounting and reporting related inquiries. 

This position may be eligible for rotation opportunities within the Accounting Division.

• Reviews financial statements of international subsidiaries on a periodic basis.
• Performs period, quarter, and year end close procedures and financial statement analysis.
• Designs and maintains OneStream reports.
• Participates in the design, development, implementation and testing of reporting consolidation systems.
• Plays an active role in the metadata maintenance process to ensure appropriate set up and understands the impacts to the financial statements.
• Assists with special projects and a variety of adhoc financial statement analysis.
• Assists with the planning, coordination and documentation of events and meetings that involve foreign and local subsidiaries. 
• Assists with special projects, research, and analysis as needed.
• Must be willing to travel internationally as needed to support global financial reporting initiatives.
• Understands, performs, and is able to explain department key controls related to their responsibilities.
• Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent and a minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance fields.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles, consolidations, and financial statement presentation.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge with an aptitude for learning new software applications and systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills. 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a stressful and deadline driven environment and strive for excellence while maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy. 
• Ability to efficiently and effectively collaborate with all levels of management, Accounting, I.S., and International business partners, as well as with third parties (i.e. external auditors). 
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and ability to work additional hours required when business needs arise.

• Experience using Onestream, SAP or equivalent, and Google Applications.
