Job Purpose:
- This multifaceted role combines the responsibilities of Payroll Administration, Talent Sourcing, and HR Generalist duties. The individual will be responsible for processing payroll, sourcing and recruiting candidates, and supporting various HR functions. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Payroll Administration:**
- Process employee payroll accurately and timely, including salary calculations, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare related reports.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- **Talent Sourcing:**
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions.
- Utilize various sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and assess candidate qualifications.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- **HR Generalist:**
- Assist with the onboarding of new employees, including paperwork completion and orientation.
- Maintain employee files and records.
- Support employee relations activities, including addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
- Assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration, including processing payroll, managing payroll taxes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sourcing and recruiting candidates, utilizing various platforms and techniques to identify and attract talent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR generalist functions, such as employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and performance management.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of various sourcing techniques, including social media recruiting, Boolean search, and networking.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
