Job Responsibilities
HVAC System Installation, Maintenance & Repairs – Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential homes
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC issues, including heating/cooling malfunctions, air quality issues, and system inefficiencies
Preventative Maintenance – Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning systems, and testing equipment to ensure proper functionality
Customer Interaction – Engage with customers to inform them of issues, solutions, and the overall status of their HVAC systems
System Efficiency – Recommend products and services to customers that will optimize HVAC system performance and energy efficiency
Read & Interpret Technical Diagrams – Review blueprints and technical diagrams to install or troubleshoot HVAC systems properly
Code Compliance – Ensure all work follows national and local building codes and regulations for HVAC systems
Record Keeping – Use Service Titan software to track repairs, maintenance, and service calls, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation
Safety Compliance – Follow all safety protocols and ensure HVAC systems are functioning safely in accordance with industry standards
Customer Service – Provide a high level of customer service with attention to detail and a professional attitude
Qualifications
Experience – 3 years of experience as an HVAC service technician or a similar role
Certifications – HVAC certification or equivalent experience from a technical/trade school is preferred
Technical Expertise – Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and air quality equipment
Service Software – Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software is a plus
Communication Skills – Strong communication skills to explain HVAC issues and solutions clearly to customers
Attention to Detail – Ability to perform accurate work while adhering to all codes and regulations
Customer-Focused – A commitment to delivering exceptional service with a positive attitude
Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
