An I.T. Specialist works closely with I.T. Management ensuring consistent, reliable support for employees and guests. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting various problems with phones, computer network infrastructure, PC endpoints, and hospitality software. This position also requires availability on weekends and a focus on guest services.

- Regular administration of windows desktop, office suite and active directory for all of the companies’ business units
- Day to day helpdesk support – fielding incoming tickets and phone communications
- Responsible for self-education on new technology to improve company software/hardware devices
- Support employees and guests by ensuring the computers, phones, and printers are all functioning correctly
- Ability and interest in providing outstanding service is required as acting as the face of the department
- Learn and assist in the trouble-shooting of issues with the resort-wide operating software systems utilized by the various departments
- Work with software vendors to address department issues and efficient workflow
- Setup new workstations and test for reliability
- Troubleshoot corporate and guest wired and wireless internet
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot DHCP addressing and VPN connections
- Troubleshoot and install point-to-point networking devices
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and configure phones and extensions
- Other Duties may be assigned
Job Requirements:
- Desire to learn and grow additional skills
- In addition to e-mail, texting and other forms of electronic communication, incumbents will be required to display good verbal communication skills with operational leaders and staff
- This position requires the ability to stand, and, walk, 4 to 5 hours at a time, climb stairs, reach, and bend.
- This position also requires advanced computer knowledge and advanced knowledge of networking.
- Weekend, holiday work & unusual shifts may be required
- This position involves departmental rotating on-call
- Travel may be required
- The position may also require the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience with troubleshooting network equipment and performance issues
- Minimum of 2 years working with Active Directory Domain Services including user configurations, security groups, file share permissions, and group policy objects
- Experience administrating or troubleshooting phone systems
