Event Planner/Promoter

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Planner/promoter to join our team. The Event Planner will be responsible for organizing and coordinating various events, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully. As well as community outreach to bringin new patrons.

**Responsibilities:**

- Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events such as live music, corporate meetings, after-work "happy hours", and parties

- Coordinate with clients to determine event requirements and expectations

- Work with kitchen manager on food needs for the party

- Create unique events for the community

- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses stay within the allocated budget

- Oversee event setup and coordination of event

- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as an Event Planner or in a similar role

- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers, entertainers, and co-workers

- Knowledge of event marketing strategies to promote events effectively

- Familiarity with ongoings in Salt Lake City and established ties in the community

- Exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
