Measurement Specialist
JOB SUMMARY
Commensurate with experience, incumbents in this position are responsible for executing and supporting measurement projects, and maintenance on operations systems, including installations, meter testing, calibrations, collections and troubleshooting. Works closely with field operations personnel to ensure accurate operations and reporting of metering and/or measurement equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following represents the majority of the duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMAND
Work is typically performed outdoors. Exposure to conditions, such as extreme heat or cold is likely. Incumbents in this position must be able to physically and legally operate company vehicles and equipment. Employees must be able to perform work which requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, heavy lifting, and climbing, including steps, vertical ladders, and steep grades. Personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
Travel Requirements
This position requires a valid state issued driver’s license, and employees must pass an initial drug and alcohol screening at hire. Required to travel between field sites to perform daily tasks.

Measurement Specialist
JOB SUMMARY

- Test, inspect, calibrate, and repair gas measurement equipment, control valves and regulators
- Assist in the installation of gas measurement and control equipment
- Perform Operational Readiness Assessments prior to production facility commissioning
- Troubleshoot and repair facility controls, sensors, communication devices, and safety systems
- Review electronic measurement data for accuracy and report any discrepancies
- Perform and witness joint meter tests with other gas companies
- Maintain accurate measurement files and submit reports as required
- Test, inspect, calibrate, and repair gas measurement equipment, control valves and regulators
- Assist in the installation of gas measurement and control equipment
- Other duties as assigned
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Must be able to work both in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Must be available to work assigned weekend and on-call shifts
