Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Receptionist to join our team! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community. Recruitment is being done for part time hours with every other weekend (8:00am-2:00pm), and every other Tuesday (4:30pm-6:30pm).
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Receptionist:
- Open and close the reception desk and properly secures all files, keys and equipment in the office area.
- Communicate to the appropriate parties, promptly and clearly, all messages and material directed to them.
Process incoming and outgoing calls in a timely, professional, and helpful manner. Make changes and/or additions and deletions to the database when necessary. - Greet, assist, inform, guide. and direct residents, visitors, staff, and vendors with courtesy and service oriented attitude.
- Conduct financial transactions. Make reservations for guest rooms, party rooms and lounges, and other common spaces.
- Answer maintenance service calls and communicate requests to Plant Operations/Environmental Services staff.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous receptionist or commensurate experience; will train qualified candidate.
- Must be friendly, caring individual, with social presence and display flexible behavior.
- Possess excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Possess computer and word processing skills.
Salary Range: $14.00-$15.50
