Overview:
As the primary role of first Impressions, this individual will be the first point of contact for both phone and walk-in customers. The individual in this role must be comfortable engaging directly with customers, asking questions to understand their needs, and efficiently routing calls or addressing inquiries. The office environment is casual and friendly, but the pace is fast, and the work is varied.
You’ll support the daily operations of the office by answering phones, managing walk-ins, processing payments, and assisting with paperwork and communication across teams. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, upbeat, and detail-oriented—a self-starter who can juggle multiple responsibilities with a smile.
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- This is an on-site position with no remote work option.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls; ask clarifying questions to route appropriately.
- Greet and assist all walk-in customers with professionalism and warmth.
- Complete point-of-sale transactions (credit card, cash, check) and balance daily deposits.
- Print, stuff, and mail invoices.
- Enter work orders, process warranty claims, and manage filing and documentation.
- Provide administrative support to office and technical teams.
- Assist with general office duties including mail distribution, file organization, and tech support for field staff.
- Other duties as assigned to support business operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Prior customer service experience, especially in a phone or front-desk setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Friendly, honest, punctual, and adaptable
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid driver’s license desired
Work Location:
- On-site in North Liberty, IA
- Daily in-person presence required—applicants must have reliable transportation or relocation plans in place.
