Job Summary:
The Radiology Unit Coordinator will:
- Greet and register patients, schedule exams, and coordinate appointments.
- Answer calls, prepare daily schedules, and manage radiology charges.
- Obtain and verify insurance authorizations.
- Enter professional fees for radiology interpretations and manage image releases/acquisitions.
- Fax radiology reports to providers, train covering staff, and support imaging study coordination.
