What are the responsibilities and job description for the ICU Unit Coordinator position at Adirondack Health?
Position Summary:
The ICU Unit Coordinator is responsible for monitoring cardiac monitors, clerical duties and assisting the Registered Nurse in providing patient care and related activities that contribute to the function of the unit. The ICU Unit Coordinator functions under the direct and immediate supervision of a nurse.
Educational Requirements/ Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associates Degree preferred. CPR Certification or ability to acquire, ability to perform assignments under pressure, high level of interpersonal communications skills, basic computer skills and advanced EKG rhythm interpretation skills or ability to require.
