NMC is currently recruiting for a Health Unit Coordinator in the PCU. This position is a full-time (72 hours bi-weekly) position, hours are 7a-7 : 30p.
The Health Unit Coordinator acts as a part of the Nursing team, and at the direction of unit Supervisors and Director, is integral in supporting patient and unit flow.
Education : High school graduate or equivalent.
Prior Experience : Unit Secretary experience preferred. Computer experience required. Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
Other : Communicates clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing. Has the ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing demands. Has an approachable, friendly demeanor.
