What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cotting Transition Institute Program Manager position at Cotting School?
Help us launch the Cotting Transition Institute (CTI), a new and one-of-a kind offering! The CTI, housed on the campus of Cotting School, will serve as a center of excellence for young adults with disabilities transitioning to adult services. Opening in January 2025, the first phase of services will be offered to Cotting School alumni, ages 22 - 30 years old. The second phase of services will expand to members of the community beyond Cotting during the summer of 2025.
The Program Manager is a year round 52 week position and will serve as an integral part of the day-to-day operations of the CTI. You will be part of a dynamic team working collaboratively to create robust, innovative resources, connections, and workshops, events and activities for young adults with disabilities and their families.
Reporting to the Director of the CTI, the Program Manager will be responsible for design, oversight, and execution of events, workshops, and seminars. Further, the Program Manager will assist with managing the online presence of the CTI, updating our website event listings, member newsletters and resources online.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Director to create and manage the schedule of events, workshops and seminars at the CTI.
Execute and manage workshops, events, and seminars for participants online and in person
Ensure participants are properly registered for events, workshops, and seminars; including submitting proper paperwork and payment prior to attending
Gather and review feedback from participants post events, workshops, and seminars
Utilize feedback from participants to continually improve and grow CTI offerings
Maintain database of parent/community volunteers and their area of expertise
Manage the CTI Member Directory, updating information as needed
Monitor the online presence of the CTI including updating website event listings, member newsletters, and resources online.
Provide oversight and direction to CTI staff and volunteers at events
Other duties as assigned
