Our office is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish English) Immigration Paralegal Supervisor to join our successful team. This role will oversee a team of paralegals handling U. S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) matters, ensuring efficient case management, compliance, and client eservice excellence. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with USCIS processes, a strong leadership background, and a passion for Immigration Law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of paralegals handling USCIS-related filings, petitions, and applications.
- Review and ensure accuracy of immigration filings, including family-based petitions, naturalization applications, Consular process (NVC), and humanitarian relief cases.
- Train and mentor paralegals on USCIS procedures, case preparation, and legal research.
- Monitor case progress, deadlines, and compliance with immigration regulations.
- Serve as a point of contact for complex cases and provide guidance to staff.
- Communicate with attorneys, clients, and government agencies regarding case status and updates.
- Implement best practices to improve workflow, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an immigration paralegal, with significant USCIS casework.
- Previous team lead experience.
- Extensive knowledge of USCIS forms, processes, and filing requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in case management software (e.g., INSZoom, LawLogix, Docketwise, or similar).
- Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
