Position Summary

We are seeking a Service Desk Associate to provide technical support and management of end users, servers, and network infrastructure.

What will you do in this role?

  • Provide first-call resolution for day-to-day customer issues and requests, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
  • Efficiently triage, prioritize, troubleshoot and escalate end-user and infrastructure related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
  • Collaborate with Level 2 and Level 3 Consultants to troubleshoot and escalate complex issues as needed, and actively engage in learning and applying advanced server and network infrastructure concepts to enhance technical expertise.
  • Employ exceptional customer service skills, including organization, clear and helpful communication, and prompt response, to uphold a best-in-class customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Accurately track time and document technical efforts in the PSA (Professional Services Automation) tool, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery processes, leveraging feedback and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and expand technical skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities, staying current with industry trends and technologies.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call duty rotation, providing support outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • Work remotely as part of the NOC Service Desk team

What do you need to succeed in this role?

  • 2 years of experience required (Managed Services preferred).
  • Experience with PSA and RMM toolsets, such as ConnectWise Manage and LabTech / ConnectWise Automate is a plus.
  • Experience in supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems. Mac support experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting (e.g., IP address configuration, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with email platforms like Microsoft Exchange or Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of server environments, including Microsoft Entra ID administration, though in-depth server management is typically handled by higher-level support.
  • Experienced in the imaging / setup of workstation builds from hardware to Windows profile configuration.
  • Solid problem-solving abilities and the ability to follow structured troubleshooting procedures.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users
  • Ability to work effectively in team and remote work environments.
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and genuine interest in IT technologies, problem-solving, and customer service
