Cottonwood Distribution, a proud family-owned business with roots dating back 60 years. We are seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associate to join our team during the peak season from April to September! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy objects, and works well in a fast-paced team setting
Key Responsibilities:
- As directed by the mobile WMS system, rep
- Ensures pulled items are picked up on time.
- Organizes orders with appropriate labels for delivery.
- Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensures all products are picked correctly.
- Works independently and in team settings.
- Flexible schedule across a Sunday through Saturday workweek.
- Safety-sensitive position
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with forklifts, swings, and other heavy warehouse equipment.
- Must be able to work between 2 pm and 11 pm.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly with or without accommodation.
- Ability to work in multiple temperature environments, including general warehouse areas, refrigerated and/or freezer areas with subzero temperatures.
- Ability to handle deadlines and interruptions in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment.
- Good math skills.
- Good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
