Job Description
The Maintenance Assistant/Groundskeeper reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant/Groundskeeper are grounds, parking lot, and community area upkeep, work orders, and maintaining excellent resident relations through superior customer service. On call and weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities
- Maintain positive resident relations through superior service
- Participate in the daily operations of the property
- Cleanliness of the grounds, pool, leasing office, and common community areas
- Work Order response
- The Turn and Make Ready process
- Adhering to company policy, state and federal safety and fair housing laws
- Hands on repair and upkeep
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Basic understanding of plumbing
- A valid driver’s license, good driving record and proof of insurance is required
- The ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of lawn care
- Good interpersonal skills and a great attitude
- A passion to serve residents, parents, vendors, and colleagues
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.66 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
