Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Wheelchair Attendant will work onsite at JFK Airport.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Transports passengers requiring wheelchair service within the terminal and aircraft.
- Must be able to read airline tickets and monitors.
- Must be able to read various domestic and international forms and airline city codes.
- Transporting passengers to a connecting flight operated by a different carrier.
Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Be able to stand, squat, kneel, and walk 70% or more of the scheduled work time
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
