You’ll ensure the smooth operation of the daily HR functions within the organization by visioning, managing and supporting recruitment, onboarding, off-boarding, licensure and training, benefits and leave administration, compliance, performance management and policy and procedures development, interpretation and application.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The HR Generalist oversees the work of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resources strategy.
· Coordinate job postings, recruitment, applicant flow, screening and interviews, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborating with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
· Manage pre-hire procedures including background checks and employee eligibility verifications, clearances, certifications and licensure.
· Conduct new hire procedures collecting and storing all required onboarding documents, assigning equipment and services, creating new hire profiles and transitioning new hires into the employee portal.
· Maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other records management systems accurately and confidentially, ensuring all employee compliance documentation and data are tracked.
- Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave.
- Review, track, and maintain the centralized portal for tracking compliance with license renewals, certifications, clearances and training.
- Assist employees with benefit- and leave-related questions and claims.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that encourages employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, managers and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, recommending best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Conduct off-boarding and termination procedures, including exit interviews and any benefits resolution.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance HR practices.
- Assist the CFO with reports, audits, financials and payroll as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
- SHRM-CP or certification a plus.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Four years of human resource management experience.
- Experience in a health services environment is preferred.
- Experience working with remote and part-time teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations including local, state and federal compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s recruitment (ISolve), HRIS and talent management systems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is largely sedentary with most of the time sitting in a chair and working with a computer. The role uses basic office equipment including phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse and printer. This role requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs and lift up to 15 pounds. This role requires occasional travel to area offices.

Salary : $75,461 - $79,296
