We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate licensed practitioner to join our dynamic team in the heart of El Paso. As a dedicated counseling professional, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to our diverse clientele. This position requires holding a valid Texas LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license.
The National Health Service Corp (NHSC) is an organization that supports health care providers dedicated to working in areas of the United States with limited access to health care by providing student loan repayment programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct counseling sessions based on evidence-based practices.
- Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions and strategies to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
- Participate in weekly staffings to discuss client progress, treatment strategies, and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Hold a current and valid Texas LPC, LMFT, or LCSW license.
- Possess a master's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
- Demonstrate experience in providing counseling services to diverse populations.
- Proficiency in evidence-based counseling modalities and therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on current research and best practices.
- Creative and critical thinking abilities to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
