Why Consider This Role:
The Outreach Coordinator is a field-based, business development role allowing a hybrid schedule that balances independence and team connection throughout the week. The Outreach Coordinator will spend much of their time in the field networking, building relationships, and educating referral sources on mental health services available through Counseling Works.

What You'll Do Day-to-Day:
- Be a friendly face for Counseling Works in the community
- Build relationships with local healthcare providers, businesses, and schools
- Have a pulse on what's happening in the mental health world
- Use our client management system (KEAP) to track contacts and relationships
- Team up with our therapists to spread the word about their specialties
- Track how our referral partnerships are working
- Visit partners in person, make calls, give office tours, attend local events & help host community events
- Drive to local businesses regularly
- Keep your supervisor in the loop with weekly updates
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Experience in outreach, relationship-building, and conversion
- Outgoing personality with strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and hit your goals
- Drive to exceed targets for new client referrals
- Excel at planning, following through, and adjusting strategies as needed
- Smart about spotting opportunities in the local market
- Confident making decisions on your own while knowing when to ask for help
- Comfortable with tech: Excel, Google apps, Apple devices, and client management software
- Understanding of mental health basics and patient privacy rules

Schedule: 15-20 hours/week, business hours; hybrid (combination of local travel, in office and remote locations)
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of associate level collegiate degree in sales, marketing, healthcare, office administration, hospitality, or similar field.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel in the general area of our office locations.
- Willing to work business, daytime hours.
- Complete comfort in introducing and explaining our services to others.
- Successful sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience with mental health in some capacity is a plus but not required.
Compensation
- $22/hour
- Mileage Reimbursement for Travel
