Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facility Maintenance Technician to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and ensuring that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to facility maintenance, with a focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure optimal functionality of all facility systems.
- Bobcat certification or ability to complete the training and certification classes.
- Repair equipment as needed, utilizing various tools and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing mechanical problems.
- Provide guidance to vendor services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory management.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance.
- Proficient in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to identify and replace components as required for repairs or improvements.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
