THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION FROM 01/25/2025 until 04/15/2025
The Club Accountant performs all aspects of Accounts Payable. Complies and sorts invoices and cuts checks in accordance with Club Policies and Procedures. Maintain vendor files. Assist vendors with payment status inquiries. Issue 1099 forms.
Essential Duties
- Posts Various Journal Entries.
- Assists in the review of the Financial Statements for Accuracy. Prepare monthly Financial Statements. Assist in variance analysis of Financial Information.
- Provides GL account and supplier/vendor analysis upon request for Department Heads.
- Reconciles prepaid expense and accrued expense ledger accounts.
- Assist in setting up new members so they have access to a club charge account and website access.
- Issue refund checks to resigning members or issues petty cash checks to employees.
- Assist with monthly calls regarding membership statements.
- Maintain the Food & Beverage inventory files.
- Provides Food & Beverage reports detailing variances from the count and updates actual quantities counted.
- Perform a journal entry reconciling the general ledger values.

Education and Experience Requirement
A bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting or Finance a plus, a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience. Degree may be substituted with 5 years of applicable experience.
Experience with Club Essentials software preferred but not required. Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
